The FDA granted accelerated approval to tarlatamab-dlle for adult patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer who have progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy, based on an overall response rate of 40% and a median duration of response of 9.7 months in the DeLLphi-301 trial.
Reciprocal regulation of hMENA and TGF-β signaling in cancer-associated fibroblasts promotes EMT, immunosuppression, poor prognosis, and ICT resistance in NSCLC. Overexpression of hMENA in cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) defines a myofibroblast-like subset driven by TGF-β signaling, which sustains TGF-β1-mediated crosstalk between cancer cells and CAFs, impairs T-cell functionality, and correlates with poor patient prognosis and resistance to immune checkpoint therapies in NSCLC.
New Publications Related to Drugs in Clinical Trial Development
Perioperative penpulimab-based combination therapy in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer (ALTER-L043): an open-label, multicenter, randomized, phase II trial.
